These terms govern your use of Ringit, a vehicle contact system operated by Ringit Networks ("we", "us"). By buying a Ringit sticker, activating one, or scanning one, you accept these terms.

1. What Ringit does

Ringit provides a QR sticker that allows anyone to place a free, masked phone call to a vehicle owner without seeing the owner's phone number, and without the owner seeing the caller's number. The call is routed through our telecom partner.

2. Buying a sticker

  • A Ringit sticker is sold for a one-time fee (current pricing as disclosed at checkout on shop.ringit.live) and ships with a unique QR ID (format RI-XXXXXX).
  • The price includes the sticker, lifetime QR hosting, and unlimited masked calls subject to fair use.
  • Payments are processed by our payment gateway partner. Refunds are handled per the refund policy disclosed at checkout.

3. Activating a sticker

  • A sticker must be activated by registering a phone number against the QR ID. Until activated, the sticker is non-functional.
  • The phone number you register must be one you own or are authorized to use.
  • You can update your registered number at any time after verifying the new number.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Ringit to harass, stalk, threaten, or defraud any person
  • Place repeated calls intended to disturb or annoy
  • Use the service in any way that violates Indian law or third-party rights
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the service

We reserve the right to block any phone number that misuses the system. Decisions to block are at our sole discretion and may be appealed by writing to rohit@ringit.live.

5. Service availability

  • We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Calls depend on the underlying telecom network and may fail occasionally.
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

6. Liability

Ringit is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ringit Networks is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use, or inability to use, the service — including but not limited to missed calls, towing, traffic disputes, or any incident involving the vehicle. The maximum aggregate liability of Ringit Networks to any user is limited to the amount paid by that user for the sticker.

7. Intellectual property

The Ringit name, logo, and all related marks, designs, and content are the property of Ringit Networks. You may not use them without our written permission.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Delhi, India.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
